Getting There
From Narita Airport (NRT)
Recommended (Premium): Take the 🔵 Keisei Skyliner from Terminal 1 or 2 to Ueno Station in approximately 45 minutes. From Ueno, transfer to the ⚪ Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line to reach Roppongi Station in approximately 25 minutes. Terminal 3 users should take the shuttle bus to Terminal 2 first. Budget: The 🟠 Keisei Access Express runs to Daimon Station, where you can transfer to the 🟣 Toei Oedo Line; this takes approximately 90 minutes. Direct: The Airport Limousine Bus (Premium) connects all terminals directly to major hotels like the Grand Hyatt and Ritz-Carlton in approximately 90–120 minutes.
From Haneda Airport (HND)
Recommended (Mid-range): Take the 🔴 Keikyu Line from any terminal (T1, T2, T3) to Daimon Station in approximately 20–25 minutes. Transfer to the 🟣 Toei Oedo Line to reach Roppongi Station in approximately 6 minutes. This is generally the fastest route. Alternative: The 🔵 Tokyo Monorail connects to Hamamatsucho Station, which is a short walk from Daimon Station for the Oedo Line connection.
Roppongi to Ueno
One of the easiest cross-town runs in Tokyo: the ⚪ Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line goes straight through from Roppongi (H-04) to Ueno (H-18) with no transfer, fourteen stops and roughly 25 minutes. The same train also serves Ginza (H-09), Tsukiji (H-11) and Akihabara (H-16), so it is a useful line to remember if you are basing yourself in Roppongi.
Roppongi to Tokyo Station
Two stops on the ⚪ Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line to Kasumigaseki, then change to the 🔴 Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line for two more stops to Tokyo Station — about 15–20 minutes in total. Kasumigaseki is a straightforward transfer inside the ticket gates.
Harajuku to Roppongi
The simplest way is to enter at Meiji-jingumae 〈Harajuku〉 (C-03), which connects directly to JR Harajuku Station, and ride the 🟢 Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line two stops to Nogizaka (C-05). From there it is roughly a 10-minute walk east to Roppongi Crossing. If you would rather stay on rails the whole way, go one stop to Omotesando (C-04), change to the 🟠 Tokyo Metro Ginza Line for one stop to Aoyama-itchome, then take the 🟣 Toei Oedo Line one stop to Roppongi — three legs for a journey you can almost walk.
Shinjuku to Roppongi
Direct on the 🟣 Toei Oedo Line, about 10 minutes, no transfer.
Shibuya to Roppongi
Take the 🟢 JR Yamanote Line one stop to Ebisu, then change to the ⚪ Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line for two stops to Roppongi — about 15 minutes. Buses also run directly to Roppongi Hills.

Local Access
Roppongi Station is the main hub, served by the ⚪ Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and the 🟣 Toei Oedo Line. Roppongi Hills is directly connected to the Hibiya Line concourse, while Tokyo Midtown connects directly to the Oedo Line. IC cards (Suica, PASMO) are accepted on all trains, subways, and buses in the area.
